Region Västra Götaland cooperates with its neighbours in northern Europe, with other European regions and with regions in other parts of the world. We work in EU projects and other forms of exchange with individual regions.
We are also an active member in a number of cross-border, transnational and European organizations and networks, with an aim to monitor and influence the EU policy agenda, develop ideas for projects, make contacts, promote Västra Götaland and contribute to making the regional level more visible and influential in European governance.
