Developing entrepreneurship
Our efforts are mainly concentrated on developing entrepreneurship by stimulating young people’s interest in business activities, supporting innovation, strengthening and developing incubators and technology parks in close cooperation with universities and colleges, stimulating new enterprises by seed financing, cluster development and industrial development.
Participation in international networks
The globalisation opens up for new opportunities for economic growth and Västra Götaland is part of a number of international networks with exchange of experience and transfer of knowledge as main characteristics.
Region Västra Götaland also handles various forms of business financing and support to service activities, job creation and growth.
