Conservation means keeping or extending the life of something, and conservation of cultural and historical objects, buildings or environments involves slowing the breakdown of materials.

Studio Västsvensk Konservering offers a wide range of services for different types of conservation. These include preventive measures such as making inventories, care plans, disaster preparedness and training, as well as the conservation of all types of cultural and historical objects, collections, buildings and environments.

SVKs core activity is preventive and includes active conservation, giving advice, education and training activities. Our target groups mainly include the institutions and activities of the public community, within the county of Västra Götaland, but also private personsassociations, corporations and other institutions.
