If you have trouble reading with ordinary eyeglasses, orienting yourself in your surroundings, moving around, or managing daily activities due to visual impairment, you can receive support at one of our Syncentral visual impairment clinics.
Syncentral clinics can provide habilitation and rehabilitation for patients who suffer from moderate to severe visual impairment or blindness, regardless of age. Our aim is to work together with you to improve your quality of life and make everyday activities easier.
To visit us, you will need a referral from an eye specialist (ophthalmologist) that tells us how well you see and what is causing your visual impairment.

Dövblindteam deafblindness support services
If you have a combined visual and hearing impairment, you can receive support from Dövblindteam. Most of Dövblindteam’s patients are referred to us by other healthcare providers. You can also send us a self-referral by logging in on the 1177.se website.
