I am involved in a large part of ISM's research involving promotion, prevention and treatment aspects of stress-related disorders as well as underlying biological mechanisms. Project leader for several research projects dealing with exhaustion disorder (ED), including the ongoing long-term follow-up of patients previously seeking care for ED. Responsible for several ongoing publications on physical activity and stress, ED and biological mechanisms and other clinical aspects of ED. Another research interest is the work-place related aspects of stress-related problems and sick-leave and how to promote sustainable working life. The gender aspect of stress-related disorders and workings condition is another major interest.
Project leader for the “ASTI Study” - A Study on Effects of Physical Exercise and stress-physiological responses and for the LUMS Study - Long-Term Follow-up of Patients with Exhaustion disorder. Involved in majority of on-going research project and analysis of data at ISM.
