You are welcome to visit us in Västra Götaland! Our vision is for Västra Götaland to be Scandinavia’s most popular, most appreciated - and most lucrative tourism region.

Region Västra Götaland supports the local tourism industry in a number of ways. Many of Västra Götaland’s cultural and other tourist attractions are either owned by or operated with the support of Region Västra Götaland.

West Sweden Tourist Board is wholly owned by Region Västra Götaland and manages issues related to the local tourism industry. Its task is to develop and promote West Sweden (Västra Götaland County) as a tourist destination.

The Tourist Board of Western Sweden is our owned company for tourism issues. The company's mission is to develop and market West Sweden as a destination.
