This programme seeks to help develop the region’s energy systems to accommodate increased production from renewable sources and more efficient energy use. It will heighten local innovative capacity by stimulating cooperation between the business world, researchers and the public sector and will facilitate technological and service-related development that will help reduce fossil energy use at the global level.
