Healthy Cities Sweden

The Healthy Cities network’s overarching aim is to promote quality and equity within public health at the national level and to create structures that support sustainable development. Its member cities work together with the other European Healthy Cities networks, guided by the World Health Organization’s Health 2020 health policy framework and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Their aim is to have health equity included on the political agenda at the local, regional, national and global levels and to cooperate with international networks through the exchange of knowledge and information and by participating in international projects, working groups and conferences.
