Svinesundskommittén/The Svinesund Committee

Svinesundskommittén (The Svinesund Committee) has taken over the responsibilities of the region’s former Gränskommittén (The Border Committee), which worked for nearly 30 years to promote development in the border region between Sweden and Norway. The Committee protects and promotes the region’s interests in European forums and collaborates with the EU’s Interreg Sweden-Norway Program. An interreg programme has also been established for the Öresund-Kattegatt-Skagerrak region.
