Helpful Information About Your Appointment With Us
The following information is for patients who have received a letter notifying them that they have an appointment with us (kallelse).
Things to bring with you to your appointment at the clinic
Please bring the following:
1) the letter you received containing your appointment details (kallelse)
2) some form of personal ID or your Asylum Seeker Card (LMA Card).
Also bring your High-cost Protection Scheme Card (högkostnadskort) or Free Card (frikort) with you, if you have one.
Interpreting services
Please tell us well in advance, preferably at the same time as you book your appointment, if you will need an interpreter during your visit. Interpreting services are free of charge. Interpreters must keep all information about you confidential.

Check-in & payment when you come to your appointment
Tell the staff at the reception desk that you have arrived or check in using your mobile phone. Usually, you will pay for your appointment when you arrive at the clinic, but if not, you will receive a bill in the mail instead. If you have a Free Card (frikort), you will not need to pay for your appointment. If you are under 20 years of age or 85 years or older, your appointment will be free of charge.
Video consultations
You can also book a video consultation with us, in which you use your mobile phone or tablet for your appointment instead of coming to the clinic in person. Choose a quiet, private place where you have a stable Internet connection for your video consultation. Use headphones for the best possible sound quality and to protect your privacy.
Rescheduling or cancelling your appointment
Reschedule or cancel your appointment as soon as possible if you cannot come, and at least 24 hours in advance so that you avoid the need to pay the patient fee (patientavgift). Log in on the 1177.se website to cancel or reschedule your appointment or to send us a message.
If you don’t come to your appointment without having cancelled it 24 hours in advance, you will be billed for the appointment anyway. You will be charged even if your appointment would have been free if you had come. You cannot use your Free Card (frikort) to pay the bill for an appointment you failed to attend. Neither can you receive a stamp on your High-cost Protection Scheme Card (högkostnadskort) for missed appointments.
