- ENCORE is a political platform and forum for Environment Ministers and other relevant political leaders of the regions of Europe dealing with Environmental and Sustainable Development issues.
- ENCORE is dedicated to political cooperation between the regional Environment Ministers in Europe.
- The driving force of ENCORE is the biennial Conference for the regional Environment Ministers.
- ENCORE enables the exchange of positions towards EU policies and legislation as well as experiences and good practices as a starting point for regional cooperation.
