Sexualmedicinskt centrum – Pilen, a specialised sexual health clinic.
What kind of help is available?
- Discussion and advice about the human body and its development as well as screening and testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- Contraception advice
- Emergency contraceptive pill – the ‘morning-after pill’
- Pregnancy tests
- Discussions regarding homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality
- Discussions relating to involuntary sex and sexual harassment and assault
- HPV and hepatitis A and B vaccinations free of charge
SMC-Pilen is a specialised sexual health clinic that focuses on young people with alcohol and drug problems as well as individuals with experience of engaging in sexual activity in return for payment. The Clinic has a group of midwives who are trained in sexology and psychotherapy. An interpreter can be arranged to assist you during your visit. We work closely with Mini-Maria Gothenburg and the Mika Clinic and if necessary we can refer an individual for further treatment.
Appointments are free of charge. We observe strict client confidentiality.
